Data and Mapping

This section highlights my data and mapping work, including geospatial data management, visualization, analysis, and map development across current and past projects. It showcases how I transform complex data into meaningful maps, interactive applications, and visual tools that support decision-making and communicate information clearly.

Language Map
This website was personally made by me from scratch using HTML and CSS. While I have previously created e-portfolio sites using platforms sch as Wordpresss and Wix, I wanted this site to reflect my ability to design and code a website independently without relying on prebuilt templates or website builders.

Shreveport MPC Website
During my time with the Shreveport–Caddo Metropolitan Planning Commission, I led the technical development and management of the department’s website, designing the site’s structure and functionality while maintaining planning ordinances and other city documentation. I adapted the website during the COVID-19 pandemic to support virtual public meetings and improve online access to planning materials. I also helped transition the department’s web presence to its current Granicus-based platform, where I designed and implemented the core functionality used to organize, publish, and access planning documents and meeting information.

Shreveport HPC Website
During my time with the Shreveport–Caddo Metropolitan Planning Commission, I served as the lead Historic Preservation Planner while also managing and maintaining the website for the City’s Historic Preservation Commission. In this role, I ensured that preservation guidelines, meeting materials, and other public resources were clearly organized and accessible online.
